Post-Covid, I stopped chasing a “traditional” business model.

Post-Covid, I stopped chasing a “traditional” business model.

And started building one that fits my life.

Samantha (my wife) and I run our business from home.

Some days we share our little office.

Other days we hot-desk in the lounge or the conservatory depending on the light or the mood.

When we need client meetings, we use a virtual office at Fareham Innovation Centre just down the road.

We’ve got a team up in Norfolk and others who work remotely across the country.

It’s not the old picture of business.

But it works.

And here’s the part I love most:

→ Breakfast at home together

→ A walk before the day starts

→ Sitting at my desk by 8am without ever sitting in traffic

The team doesn’t need me hovering.

They are self-leading and I trust them.

Which means I don’t have to micro-manage.

I get to focus on the things that matter most.

For me, that’s real success.

A business that gives freedom, flexibility, and the ability to actually enjoy life, not just work through it.

Because what’s the point of building something big if it doesn’t give you the life you want?
